Cytotoxicity

The resource for the different methods over time
In biocompatibility, cytotoxicity is the front line screening assay that should be conducted prior to other studies being conducted.  A cytotoxic product can still be on the market if the benefits out weigh the risks, but other biocompatibility tests may not be give any better results if the source of the cytotoxicity is unknown.
