Cytotoxicity Method survey

ISO 10993-5 and international regulatory bodies have moved towards the requirement of a quantitative method of performing cytotoxicity testing.  Qualitative methods, such as the MEM Elution, are still being used by manufacturers out of preference and/or as a legacy method.  The quantitative methods such as the MTT, NRU, XTT etc. offer a more precise result although they’re harder to pass.
